Bao Bap Restaurant – Authentic Katsu Sandwiches, Savory Baos & More in Marlborough, MA

Delicious food! Service was very good, only thing is I had a dirty spoon which I didn’t realize was dirty until after I put it in my soup, but I didn’t care too much.

I ordered a sandwich and one of the buns. Didn't realize how much food that was. I shared with my family and still had lunch the next day. It was very yummy and the leftovers heated up well too! Great addition to Marlboro!

I've been hearing a lot about this place and wanted to try it for myself. Went yesterday and got the Chicken Katsu Lunch special, It also came with an peach iced tea that I finished before I got home, so sorry, no photo.. The chicken sandwich was delicious. The panko coating was crunchy and chicken was tender and moist , It was topped with a crunchy/refreshing slaw. And the fries were also quite delicious topped with a Tonkatsu sauce. I'll definitely be stopping in again and highly recommend you do the same.

Just ordered some food for takeout as we are in the area. Honestly very surprised as to how good the katsu sandwich was - meat is flavored, succulent and the sauce leaves you wanting more. Even the fries are seasoned. Ordered it with the peach tea (if you prefer it sweet- that will be to your tastebuds). The lunch combo is worth it (price wise). We also ordered a ramen and golden baos. Will order again if in the neighborhood!

This is a cool little bao place in Marlboro. If you're seeking a change of pace, a change on cuisine, then swing in. While the prices took me a bit by surprise, the cuisine was good. The cook was the one that greeted us and offered their selections. We tried the chicken katsu. the octopus balls and the pork belly bao. The bao was the best of the night, while the overpowering fish flakes on the balls made my girl gag and not enjoy those one bit. The chicken was nothing special, but the orange sauce for dipping added the flavors one could use on any of their dishes. If we want Bao, we'll certainly be back.

Food was legit. I had the chicken katsu rice plate. It came with rice, very amazing breaded chicken and slaw. Came with sauce in a cup and I just glazed it over everything. The quality is there and also quantity. The price for how good the food is and portion is unbelievable. I was doing a job in the area from Chelmsford and will for sure come back.

Great food! The fried chicken katsu sandwiches were cooked to perfection. The pork bao buns are fried and they were fantastic too. Their sauces were great as well. We're looking forward to trying something else there soon.

These buns knocked my socks off!! Fresh ingredients, loved the sauce, and a fun spin on classic craveable flavors. The place was clean and staff was friendly. Also loved having vegetarian options.
